Status:Temporarily inactive
Leader:
Photography Group Leader
When: 2nd Friday 10.00 - 12.00

This group is for anyone who has an interest in photography and wants the opportunity to improve their picture taking or learn how to get more out of their camera. It is not necessary to have an expensive DSLR camera to join this group, any kind of camera is absolutely fine. Whilst we do explore technical aspects such as shutter speeds, aperture and ISO settings, the emphasis is more on picture choice and composition.

We do also look at some simple image editing using software products such as Photoshop and Affinity, or other software that may come with the camera or be downloaded for free.

Some months we will go out somewhere local to take photographs, and other months we meet at Steeple Village hall to review and discuss our photos, or have a practical session exploring topics such as still life, portraits, or using computer software to enhance digital photos.

Every 2 or 3 months we will decide on a theme for a photographic project to encourage us to get out and be creative with our cameras, and help develop our skills and knowledge.

This group is currently without a group leader.
