Walks for the average person are tackled in this group. Come along and enjoy our beautiful countryside with a friendly crowd.

We are a friendly group averaging 8-12 walkers each month. We have enjoyed some beautiful Essex countryside since we started over two years ago. Walks average 5 miles in length (around two hours) and usually cover a mixture of footpath and country lanes. As our British weather is frequently inclement, we do recommend waterproof footwear at the very least.

The walks are usually circular. We meet at a pub at 10.15 am on the first Friday of the month and as an optional extra we reward ourselves with a pub lunch at the end.

Recent destinations for walks have included Steeple, Bradwell, Goldhanger, Heybridge, Woodham Walter, Cock Clarks, Danbury .....
