Brian and I set off on the first of the season's cycle rides around the Dengie. On a cold blustery but luckily sunny April day. The route starting and finishing in Latchingdon heading out and back to Southminster.

The dynamic duo are pictured outside the Tea stop in Althorne. A cosy cafe whose existence I was unaware. Certainly worth a visit if your passing through Althorne. When asked by the waitress if we had cycled far, Brian replied with a cheeky grin miles. Actually about 12 miles in all by the time we had returned to Latchingdon.  

More rides later in the year, please come and join us, we cycle at a very sedate pace and you can walk up any hills with Brian!
